Blake's Bakery Sugar
The packaging for Blake’s Bakery’s sugar line includes dark muscovado sugar, light brown sugar and superfine caster sugar. Each type of sugar is paired with a textured landscape illustration.
The resealable stand-up pouches produced locally by GROUNDED are carbon negative, made from plant-based Sugarplex film, and can be recycled in #4 or soft plastic streams.
Made from regenerative materials grown on responsibly managed plantations and printed with non-toxic bio-based inks, the chosen pouches reflect Blake’s Bakery’s vision of sustainability, offering Australian consumers locally produced, high-quality products.

Each illustration on the front of each pouch reflects the unique qualities of the type of sugar it contains. For example, the muscovado sugar illustration depicts an evergreen forest, highlighting the sugar’s rich brown tones through the hill-shaped cut-out, while the smooth snow-like texture of superfine caster sugar blends into the hills of the snowy Alps. When displayed next to one another, the viewer’s eye is led across the pouches through a connected organic path connecting one illustration to the next.
