UTS Dog Society
UTS Dog Society is a student-run club aiming to celebrate the unconditional love of dogs. Throughout each term, the society hosts various events for its members, including meet-ups at dog-friendly parks, online game nights, collaborative events, as well as dog-themed movie nights. As the elected Marketing Executive for 2022, I was in charge of producing a range of marketing collateral to advertise the club's events and encourage new members to join the society.
Throughout my time at UTS Dog Society,
I was able to contribute to the club's post-pandemic revival through creating a new, fresh and easily recognisable brand identity, and worked with a small team of fellow UTS students to manage all official Dog Society social media.

T-SHIRT
The UTS Dog Society t-shirt was created as a two-colour vector illustration. I created the final design based off of sketches by fellow UTS students Esther Suen and Sophia Ramos to create a unique, memorable graphic for this team project. The t-shirts were available for purchase by UTS Dog Society members and worn by club executives at events.
One of the first things I wanted to do as Marketing Executive was to give the Dog Society logo a refresh. Due to limited budget, I was advised that I could not alter the logo or its colours drastically, but would be allowed to edit it as long as it was subtle and not noticeable to the average viewer.
As UTS Dog Society only had a .jpg file of the logo, the first thing I did was vectorise the image. I then edited the kerning and colours to improve legibility and contrast. The society also did not have a single colour version of their logo, and so I created a simplified black version as well as a reversed white version that would be suitable for use at a wide range of sizes and on different coloured backgrounds.

SOCIAL MEDIA
The following projects include some of the illustrations and other digital graphics graphics I created for a variety of Dog Society events including collaborative events with other societies such as UTS Photography Society, UTS Cat Society, and UTS Café Club.
CATSOC VS DOGSOC TRIVIA NIGHT (feat. UTS EventsSoc + UTS DrinksSoc)
For this annual event, I volunteered to produce all marketing materials for this collaboration on behalf of UTS Dog Society, and created a set of cartoon illustrations featuring the mascots of UTS Dog Society and UTS Cat Society to be featured on all associated social media posts. These were shared on the social media pages of all participating clubs.
In addition, I illustrated a pair of themed badges which were worn by all participants on the night representing either Team Cats or Team Dogs.

ULTI-MUTT MOVIE NIGHT (feat. UTS Café Club)
I was in charge of creating graphics for this event (on behalf of Dog Society), as Café Club was sourcing the movie and organising food for the evening.
The illustration was hand-drawn in Procreate, and the rest of the image was created using Adobe Illustrator.
PUPPERAZZI DOGGY DATE (feat. UTS Photography Society)
I was inspired by the colours, images, and typography often seen in film photography and wanted to include these elements in the promotional material I created for this event.
